Dembare to boycott Independence Cup final replay

Dynamos Footbal Club has maintained that it will not be in action this Wednesday despite ZIFA setting the 13th of May as the Independence Cup final replay date.

Dynamos President, Kenny Mubaiwa reaffirmed his club's position at Rufaro Stadium on Sunday, indicating nothing has changed.

Mubaiwa maintained that Dynamos will not engage in a replay final against FC Platinum if their demands are not met.

Dembare are citing that ZIFA's decision to charge entry fees defeats the purpose with which the match was initially intended.

Dynamos have also set out demands that if the match is to be played, it will commence in its abandoned moment in the 65th minute and that Dynamos should be allowed to maintain their 1-nil lead.

ZIFA are yet to respond.
