The Zimbabwe senior soccer team did not leave for their Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Malawi as scheduled after players refused to travel over unpaid allowances.
The Warrior's flight, which was scheduled for 4pm today, left without the Zimbabwean team which did not turn up at the Harare International Airport
ZIFA officials and Warriors head coach, Callisto Pasuwa were present at the airport, but waited in vain as the team bus never arrived.
ZIFA CEO, Jonathan Mashingaidze said the players' decision to boycott the trip emanates from unpaid allowances.
