Callisto Pasuwa has bounced back as the Warriors' head coach.
ZIFA president Cuthbert Dube made the revelations today, indicating they have paid Pasuwa his dues and the coach will be making his team announcement for the Guinea match anytime now.
Speaking during his first stop for the countrywide provincial tours, Dube says they paid Pasuwa on Friday evening, paving way for the return of the Warriors' gaffer.
"I can tell you we paid Pasuwa his money last night (Friday) and he is expected to make his squad announcement for the match against Guinea today (Saturday)," said Dube.
Pasuwa's manager Gibson Mahachi also confirmed the development indicating the Warriors' coach is back to resume duties and negotiations for a contract.
Meanwhile, in premiership matches played this Saturday, Flame Lily collected their first set of maximum points after dismissing Chapungu 2-1 at the Lafarge.
The prison side took an early lead as James Chivasa calmly slotted home in the 5th minute.
Thereafter it was an all missed chances story and two red cards for Chapungu as Patrick Khumbula and team medic Owen Gawe were sent off until the 82nd minute when Virimai Mukudo extended the prison side's lead.
Flame Lily's joy was to be short-lived after substitute Allen Tavarwisa reduced arrears following an exchange with Gift Phiri in the box.
Elsewhere Chicken Inn's championship campaign suffered a dent after the Gamecocks fell 1-nil to Hwange at home, a result that will definitely open up the championship race.
