The victorious Warriors who qualified for the 4th consecutive CHAN finals after beating Lesotho 4-2 on aggregate, have been given their rewards.
Business man, Philip Chiyangwa who is in the running for the ZIFA presidency honoured his pledge by paying the US$10 000 he had promised.
Chiyangwa, who is vying to replace Cuthbert Dube at the helm of local football, said his entrance into the race was prompted by his commitment to revive football not money.
"There is no money to be made at ZIFA, an institution with a US$6 million debt," said Chiyangwa while presenting his gift.
Warriors coach, Callisto Pasuwa thanked Chiyangwa for living up to his promise and called on other well wishers to come on board and assist with money owed to the Warriors for their previous assignments.
ZIFA CEO Jonathan Mashingaidze explained that the submission of nomination papers for those willing to run in the ZIFA elections is still on.
The ZIFA elections will be conducted on the 5th of December.
Meanwhile, reports say Themba Mliswa has also entered the race to occupy the hot seat at number 53 Livingstone Avenue.
