Premier Soccer League (PSL) log leaders, Chicken Inn and second placed FC Platinum clash at Luveve Stadium in Bulawayo tomorrow (Wednesday) in an encounter that has the potential of deciding who the 2015 champions will be.
With the 2015 premiership race now officially a two horse race, Wednesday's tie promises blood and thunder.
The match presents an opportunity for Joey Antipas and his charges to stretch their lead over FC Platinum to seven points, while a win for FC Platinum will however cut the Gamecocks' lead to just a single point, and setting up a potentially explosive climax.
In the event of a draw, it would be advantage Chicken Inn who would maintain a four point lead heading into the last four premiership matches.
The two sides head into Wednesday game as the PSL's most consistent teams of the moment, having both won four of their last five games.
The team that will allow any slip ups can as well kiss goodbye to the league title.
The two coaches; Joey Antipas and Norman Mapeza are battling to secure a second league championship.
Mapeza won the league with Monomotapa in 2008, while Antipas guided Motor Action to their maiden championship in 2010.
Interestingly, both Monomotapa and Motor Action are now defunct.
In another encounter slated for Wednesday, Chapungu host Highlanders at Ascot Stadium in Gweru.
