Zimbabwe Warriors continue rising on FIFA Rankings

Zimbabwe Warriors have continued their good ascendancy by jumping eight places to 66 position in the FIFA World rankings released on Wednesday.
Their latest ranking also sees the Warriors jump three places to 14 on the African continent.
The Warriors leap froged teams like Gabon, Sierra Leone, Northen Ireland, Guinea and Malawi.
Zimbabwe Warriors beat Liberia 3 - 0 in Harare to stay within touching distance of Group A leaders Mali in the qualification race for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.
However, Zimbabwe face a decisive final qualifying match against closest rivals Cape Verde next month in Praia, while Mali visit Liberia.
Mali are top of the section with nine points after they defeated Cape Verde Islanders 3-0 Saturday, but Zimbabwe will stay close on eight points courtesy of their win over the Lone Star of Liberia.
The good news come at a time when the Warriors are preparing for a do or die encounter with Cape Verde and after some good performances by Mapeza's team.
World and European champion Spain have regained the lead in FIFA's world rankings after the Netherlands topped the standings for just one month.
The Dutch were knocked from top spot despite winning two European Championship qualifiers, including an 11-0 victory over San Marino.
