Tsholotsho FC vows to 'eat' Chicken INN

Tsholotsho FC has vowed to roast Castle Lager Premier Soccer title favourites and current log leaders Chicken Inn on Wednesday at White City Stadium.
Tsholotsho has 29 points and on position 12 while Chicken INN has amassed 54 points in 27 games and are just two points ahead of FC Platinum and six above defending champions and third placed Dynamos, whose chance of winning a record fifth consecutive title appear slim.
Lizwe Sweswe, Tsholotsho Football Club head coach said they spoil Chicken Inn's title chase.
"It will be a tough game, but I think they are the ones under pressure because they are chasing the league title. They cannot afford to drop points since FC Platinum are breathing down their neck, while we will be happy with a draw," Sweswe said.
His Chicken Inn counterpart Joey Antipas concurred that tomorrow's encounter was bound to be a tricky one.
"These matches against lowly placed teams are the trickiest and we've to fight really hard for points. Tsholotsho are a side that's on its way up and has to be treated with the utmost respect that it deserves. Whawha gave us a real scare, but we've to live beyond that and do our best against Tsholotsho. Remember the title is ours to lose at this stage and we really need to beat Tsholotsho," Antipas said.
"It's will be a difficult game because we are coming up against a side that is not only playing very well, but they are also trying to avoid relegation. We expect one hell of a game and we have to come up with the goods if we are to continue harbouring ambitions of lifting the title," Antipas said.
Chicken Inn will be without goalkeeper Elvis Chipezeze, who is suspended having accumulated three yellow cards.
Meanwhile, title chases and and teams fighting relegation will play their remaining three matches at the same time to prevent any possible manipulation of results.
PSL chief executive officer Kennedy Ndebele said the decision to have the teams playing at the same time was made in the spirit of fair play.
"We've decided to have all teams involved either in the title or relegation races playing the remaining fixtures on the same day and time. This is something that we've always done and I'm sure teams and fans will have an exciting end of the season," said Ndebele.
