Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane is running scared as he is blaming a 'tight' fixture roaster for his team's below par performance.
Sundowns is due to face Zimbabwe champions - Chicken INN on Saturday in second CAF Champions League preliminary round tie.
Chicken INN humbled Masandawana one nill in Bulawayo.
According to KickOFF.com, Mosimane said 'We played four games in January and suddenly the next week we played five games and they are coming thick and fast,".
His side face Mpumalanga Black Aces on Wednesday evening.
"It's not only for us by the way of making excuses, but we had a tough draw in the Champions League. Chicken Inn is a good team; you find Khamas, Malajilas, Rusukes who are in there. We didn't play Highlanders, we played a really strong team.
"Now we have Aces before Chicken Inn. We need the legs for Chicken Inn so I don't know … it's difficult."
On Saturday, Chicken INN beat Harare City in a friendly game in Bulawayo.
