Arsenal Keeping Transfers 'Very Secret'

Transfer news about Arsenal are rather rumours when it comes to
negotiation matters. Wenger is resolute not to reveal anything until
things materialize.
Coach Arsene Wenger had confirmed a few weeks ago that the Gunners will
need to spend on the market following injury worries in the squad's
defensive department. A host of players have been linked with Arsenal
since then. The latest of those is Bolton's Gary Cahill but Wenger was
quick not to be tricked by the media's questions when quizzed about the
issue on Friday.
"At the moment, I can't come out with any name. I think that Gary Cahill is a very good player, yes. But I cannot tell you more."
"We like keeping our transfer negotiations always very secret because it puts more pressure on when you go public. So, you would understand that we don't want to speak publicly about that."
Gary Cahill, who is highly rumoured to be on Arsenal's transfer radar, has been at Bolton since 2008. According to the London Evening Standard, Wenger and his men are preparing a £10M bid which will reportedly be enough for Bolton to sell their player.
