Sunday 'Mhofu' Chidzambwa has resigned from South African side Black Leopards following the club's shaky start to the South Africa premier league campaign.
Chidzambwa is said to have resigned on Sunday like his name but David Thidiela the Black Leopards owner refused to accept Chidzambwa's resignation.
Chidzambwa will remain with the club and serve in another role on the technical team.
Leopards have already installed Serbian Heric Vladislav to lead the Limpopo team this season.
Leopards PR and media manager Tendani Thidiela had earlier confirmed that they are interviewing coaches and says that they should be making an announcement about the new coach by tomorrow at the latest.
"Sunday is going nowhere. He will remain as employee of Black Leopards. The club is currently interviewing a number of coaches and by tomorrow afternoon we should make an announcement," he says.
