Premier Soccer League action resumes

CHAMPIONS Chicken Inn return to Luveve Stadium for the first time since being presented with the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League trophy in November 2015 for a tricky league clash against How Mine on Saturday.
The Gamecocks are still in celebratory mood following their 2-1 Independence Cup final triumph over city rivals Highlanders at the National Sports Stadium on Monday.
Luveve Stadium has not played host to a league match this season after being initially condemned by the PSL's grounds inspection committee citing rubble left over from renovations they felt could be used as weapons by hooligans in the event of unrest.
The match promises to be an exciting and closely fought affair, reminiscent of any derby. Another exciting factor is the two sides' technical benches. The champions' technical set-up is led by Joey Antipas and the gold miners have Zambian mentor Kelvin Kaindu, both equally shrewd tacticians.
Chicken Inn have been slowly climbing to the top of the Bulawayo derbies' bragging rights with solid performances against their city opponents that include Highlanders.
Chicken Inn and How Mine have met six times in the topflight league, with the Gamecocks winning three matches and How Mine two, while drawing once.
Last season the Gamecocks collected six points in their meetings with How Mine, but the gold miners were just out of sorts in 2015.
Highlanders are away to Tsholotsho at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday.
Former champions Dynamos, whose technical bench is in turmoil with head coach Paulo Jorge Silva throwing tantrums during every match, will be hoping to end their losing streak and goal drought when they take on new boys Mutare City.
For their rich history and pedigree, Dynamos have been reduced to a laughing stock by poor performances that have seen them losing their opening two league matches and failing to find the back of the net in either.
Silva has blamed everyone else for the team's unfolding woes, except himself, and their passionate, but impatient fans are unlikely to stand any more of the Portuguese's feuds with his players.
Saturday
Chicken Inn v How Mine (Luveve Stadium), ZPC Kariba v Bulawayo City (Nyamhunga Stadium), FC Platinum v Chapungu (Mandava Stadium)
