Chidzambwa fired

BLUE Ribbon have fired coach Misheck Chidzambwa after he failed to secure a top eight finish in the club's maiden season in the top-flight league.
The axe also fell on assistant coaches Biggie Zuze and Labani Kandi and the team is likely to have a player/coach for their last game against Chicken Inn.
It seems the 6-0 drubbing at the hands of Black Mambas on Sunday was the final straw for the team, which have been struggling in the latter stages of the league campaign, after a good start in their first season.
Yesterday, club chairman Moses Shumba said they had parted ways with the former Dynamos players.
The former Warriors mentor said he had a good season.
In his contract he was also promised a car if he managed to finish in the top half.
Chidzambwa joins Philani Ncube who was fired by Chicken Inn last week and replaced with Adam Ndlovu.
