Mamelodi Sundowns is in quandary over Zimbabwean attacking midfielder Kudakwashe Mahachi.
Mahachi is back with Masandawana.
However, three teams have inquired over his availability.
According to reports from South Africa, Mahachi's move to Golden Arrows last season outside the transfer window and Sundowns has been a mystery.
Sundowns chief executive Sizwe Nzimande is quoted saying "Kuda has been bought back by Sundowns and so he is back on our books,".
"He was declared a free agent and then went to Golden Arrows.
We then sat with Golden Arrows, who we have a great relationship with, and were able to bring him back into our books so he is back with us and we are engaging with Kuda.
"Players like Kuda for us are great players for the future as he is still a bit young. He is 22 at the moment but being that young he is still a great player so we felt let us get him back and look at a scenario where he can go out and develop himself somewhere else and then once he is ready, maybe after a year, two or three he can then come back," KickOff.com reported.
Kaizer Chiefs are amongst the list of clubs keen on Mahachi.
"Yes we have been approached. They say there is honour amongst thieves and when you are approached it is important that you keep the approach to yourself out of respect for the other side.
"But we have had three clubs that have approached us who are all interested in his services. We would be willing to let him go but that is a decision that will ultimately come from the technical team as they are the ones who assess the player and say this one is ready or not ready".
