Highlanders leading top goal scorer - Bruce Kangwa might not be able to increase his tally as he has agreed terms with a Tanzanian side.
Kangwa has been a key figure for Highlanders.
He has five months remaining on his contract and is free to negotiate a new deal with any club.
Kangwa will miss Highlanders' Castle Lager Premier League match against Triangle at Barbourfields Stadium tomorrow, as he is still out of the country.
His manager George Deda confirmed that Kangwa had agreed terms with Azam and negotiations will be opened with Highlanders today.
Deda will be travelling to Bulawayo today to meet with Highlanders executives over Kangwa, who Azam intend to sign for two years.
"He (Kangwa) has made it. The Spanish coach (Zeben Hernandez) is keen on signing him. We are now talking to Highlanders and I will be in Bulawayo tomorrow (today) or Wednesday (tomorrow). Kangwa has agreed terms with Azam FC and he is very happy," Deda said.
