TRIPPLE B have all but earned a Premier Soccer League berth, after a Reginald Chidawanyika-chaired Disciplinary Committee docked 42 points from Hardbody, who were the log leaders.
This virtually restored Premiership action to Beitbridge two years after the relegation of Underhill.
The Gweru busmen - Hardbody -were found guilty on all 14 counts of using a player, Tatenda Chingarah, without a reverse international clearance.
The outcome meant the Beitbridge side immediately shot to the top of the log standings with an unassailable 12-point lead over third-placed Chapungu who have 50 points with just twomatches to go. In passing the verdict, the committee also announced 12-month football bans for Isaac Mhere, Jeremiah Neganda and Bond Mususa who were cited as third, fourth and fifth respondents respectively. The second respondent, Raymond Mugandani, was fined US$800 after being found guilty.
"We hope the sentence on Hardbody and the four respondents will send a clear message on others.
"It is the ruling that the three (Mhere, Neganda and Mususa) be banned from any football activity for the next 12 months."
Hardbody sponsor, Takesure Sibanda, was found guilty of attempted match-fixing and fined US$1 000.
