Highlanders $760 000 debt haunts club

Highlanders FC is facing a staggering $765 060, 36 debt that is threatening the club's survival.
Trade creditors are owed $23 500, sundry creditors ($197 281, 88) and statutory obligations ($114 371, 17).
According to B-Metro, the club still owes former coaches Madinda Ndlovu, Rahman Gumbo, former players Graham Ncube, Mthulisi Maphosa, Bruce Kangwa.
The amount stands at $74 200 and is listed in the clubs financials as net pay and leave provisions amounts to $4 840, 80.
Then there is $15 214, 66 said to be for short term loans.
