West Bromwich Albion and Wigan Atheltic have joined the race to sign El-Hadji Diouf from Blackburn Rovers, according to The Daily Mail.
Diouf had been the subject of a £3 million bid from Turkish side Konyaspor, but his agent Willie McKay has stated that the 30-year-old former Liverpool striker is keen to remain in the Premier League, with a number of clubs interested.
"We are talking to four Premier League clubs and hope to have something sorted before the end of the week. Much depends on Steve Kean letting him go out on a free transfer."
Meanwhile, it seems as though Rovers are planning for Diouf's departure by reportedly targeting Sporting Lisbon winger Simon Vukcevic, to boost their attacking options.
