Under fire Dynamos coach Lloyd Mutasa apologized to fed up supporters after his team crushed out of the Chibuku Super Cup on Sunday.
Dynamos lost 4-5 on penalties to How Mine at Rufaro Stadium.
Police had to summon reinforcements after a section of Dynamos supporters besieged the VVIP section baying for his blood.
"I am really sorry for the fans ,they paid their hard earned money to always come and watch us play but we lost. I'm sorry. I hope the team will do well next time," said Mutasa.
"It's part and parcel of the game. We trained this (penalty taking) before the match but such is football. We thought we would win it in normal time, but we never created much going forward. We thought we would give it our best in the Chibuku Super Cup but it was not to be," a dejected Mutasa said.
Mutasa's days at the club appear to be numbered with fans and the Dynamos executive seemingly fed up with the results and the club is understood to be considering its options.
