Highlanders has wasted no time in appointing a new president.
Jimmy Ncube who has been a board member for more than four decades is now the club president.
He replaces Jonathan Themba Mhlanga, who died last week.
"There have been new developments that have taken place at Highlanders FC after the passing on of the club president" announced board chairman Mgcini Nkolomi.
"JS Ncube, who has been the club secretary for a long time, has taken over as the club president and Mathew Sibindi has succeeded him as the new club secretary of the board of directors".
