Highlanders has been ordered to play its next home game in a empty stadium.

The title chasing side has been punished by Premier Soccer League for crowd trouble that occurred at Barbourfields in a match against Chicken Inn.

This means fans won't be allowed in on Sunday.

Four games are left in the season and the timing of the decision will raise eyebrows.

In June  PSL slapped fading Dynamos with a similar verdict for violence   in a match involving   FC Platinum in Rufaro.

However, Dynamos successfully appealed the ruling.

The PSL has came hard on Dynamos by ordering it to play their home game in an empty stadium after the violence that erupted in their 1-0 loss to FC Platinum some weeks ago.

Dynamos are also set to be handed a $3,500. However Dynamos President Kenny Mubaiwa and his executive felt the punishment was too harsh and appealed to NAFAZ and nothing since June has been done to punish the Harare side.

Years back Highlanders was made to play several home games in the morning in what was known as breakfast games.
