PSL comes hard on troublesome clubs

Castle Lager Premiership has fined current champions Chicken Inn a sum of $1500 of which $500 was suspended for insulting and threatening a refereee during their 23 July match against FC Platinum.

PSL also summoned three clubs to appear before their disciplinary committee.

Ngezi Platinum is facing charges of disrupting the normal proceedings of the game during a live Supersport broadcast match at Barbourfields on 25 September after Highlanders were awarded a penalty.

Ngezi Platinum lost the match 2-1.

On the same day, Chicken Inn were also causing a seven minute delay over a penalty awarded to Triangle at Gibbo Stadium.

Title contenders Caps United are also being charged for causing a kick off against Tsholotsho at the National Sports Stadium during the Chibuku Super Cup first round match.
