After two successive seasons of not holding an awards night, Bulawayo giants Highlanders Football Club has revealed top performers will be awarded this season.
The announcement is expected to spur Bosso players who face Ngezi Platinum in this weekend's Chibuku Super Cup semi final.
The fortunes have been favourable this season for Highlanders who to date have won the ZNA Cup and are still in the race for the Chibuku Super Cup and the league crown.
Highlanders head coach Erol "Mkabayi" Akbay has already indicated his charges are ready for the task that lies ahead of them against Ngezi Platinum.
Bosso will be meeting the platinum miners for the third time this season following back to back victories in the league encounters.
The club's CEO Ndumiso Gumede says in a year the club turns 90, Bosso will celebrate the club's top performers and the addition of a special award, the Supporters Player of the Season, will make it the more exciting.
Other awards for grabs include the player of the season, top goal scorer, outstanding newcomer, most promising young player, most disciplined, longest serving player, most spectacular goal, goalkeeper of the season, supporter of the year, players' player of the season, the captain's award, most consistent, most improved and junior player of the year.
