Highlanders double dream went up in smoke on Sunday as they lost to Ngezi Platinum Stars at Barbourfields.
The Erol Akbay side lost one nill to the platinum mines in the Chibuku Super Cup ending their nine unbeaten run in all competitions.
Ngezi Platinum got their goal through Liberty Chakoroma from a 62nd penalty after Peter Mudhuwa handled in the box.
Highlanders piled on the pressure but to no avail.
Ngezi Platinum will take on PF Platinum in the finals in November.
