Another fine for Highlanders as Gumede slam 'violent' supporters

Highlanders has been fined $2000 by Premier Soccer League after a section of supporters allegedly threw objects into the pitch last Sunday against victorious Ngezi Platinum.
So far the title chasing side has shelled out $16 000 in fines stemming from fans violent behaviour.
Said chief executive officer Ndumiso Gumede " I have just received another $2 000 fine.
"We are told it is for missile throwing by our fans against Ngezi Platinum.
"The fines have accumulated to about $16 000 now.
"We have always told our fans to desist from that and I don't know what kind of language they understand,".
Recently, PSL slapped Highlanders with a $3 500 fine for the behaviour of their fans following the league game against Chicken Inn at Barbourfields Stadium August 14.
In addition Highlanders was ordered to play in an empty stadium against Bulawayo City.
However, Highlanders appealed against the empty stadium ruling.
