Zim arrested after girlfriend's remains found in home

US - A ZIMBABWEAN man has been arrested in the United States after his girlfriend was found dead in their home in Bonney Lake, Washington DC.
Police launched a search for 42-year-old Mary Mushapaidze after her boyfriend ' who has not been named ' reported her missing on Sunday morning.
Mushapaidzi and the boyfriend shared a home on North Island Drive.
She was said to have left home for a jog at around 5:30AM and did not return.
"Upon serving a search warrant on Mary's residence, detectives located human remains inside the residence" Bonney Lake police officer, Terry Carter, wrote in a press release.
The boyfriend is now in custody for investigation of homicide, police said.
Police said the couple had a two-year-old child.
