Gtel, the leading and most preferred mobile phone brand in Zimbabwe, has done it again.
The 2013 edition of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair came to an end yesterday, and it seems Gtel was the talk of the town this year.
During the opening of the Trade Fair, Gtel put on a spectacular show with the launch of their new user Interface "3GEE".
The Gtel 3GEE is an intuitive 3D interface that enhances user experience on Gtel smart phones by offering a stunning visual experience, giving a full 3D interface as well as giving your Gtel smartphone top-notch battery life.
This new user interface was designed from ground up with power consumption capabilities in mind.
The 3GEE user interface also comprises of:
3D home screen
3Gee transforms the home screen into a 3D space. It offers a more natural user experience and makes it easier to add custom 3D features to the home screen.
3D panel framework
The animated 3D panel framework makes it easy to build a 3D environment for widgets and panels. It amplifies the device's features, boosts the user's service awareness, making the mobile device more enjoyable to use.
Push panels
The Push panels feature allows service providers and mobile carriers to move information or function to the centre of personal navigation in a non-intrusive manner. Mobile carriers or service providers can also add fully customised home screen panels remotely.
Enhanced dialler and address book
3GEE dialler combines the latest trends in organising address books with innovative usability approach to offer the best-in-class experience for the most important scenario on the phone while making calls.
For the whole week during this year's Zimbabwe International Trade Fair, the Gtel stand was one of the busiest stands, with exhibitors as well as visitors coming through to have a feel and look of the new user experience as well as to view the current and future phone sample models that Gtel will launch in this quarter of the year.
Unexpectedly, less than two months after Gtel released the A706 Infinity-S smartphone, Gtel proudly announced the launch of two new smartphone's at the Trade Fair: the A717 Explorer and the A703 Andy-plus.
This was astonishing to many, especially with the impeccable specifications that the A717 Explorer possesses.
Another interesting highlight of the week was the launch of the new robotic-looking Gtel mascot which is named "Gee".
Gee is a unique, speedy mascot that operates only in the 3D dimension and, thus, it has been named Gee which goes hand in hand with its new user experience.
Gtel has undoubtedly proven why it has been named the leading local phone brand in Zimbabwe and what is more amazing is the fact that in all its product offerings over the years it has kept to its aim of "Connecting Everyone" through affordable mobile phones that cater for the low to medium income bracket of Zimbabwe.
