Microsoft has no plans to open Zimbabwe office

Global software giant Microsoft says has no plans to open an office in Zimbabwe but will rather partner locals.

Hani Shakeel Microsoft Regional Manager for Middle and east Africa said the company was happy with present arrangement which empowers the firm.

Shakeel said Zimbabwe has vast opportunities to start partnerships with it the Microsoft giant in ICT.

Last year Microsoft unveiled Office 365 which brought affordable technology to Zimbabwe's small to medium enterprises.

It says Africa offers huge growth opportunities and the company's investment has grown steadily.
