Econet blames system upgrade

Econet Wireless has said that the challenges being faced by its subscribers is down to problems caused by an upgrade in the system.
Tweeting a bit and a half ago, it said:
#Econet wishes to inform valued customers that we are currently facing data challenges. Our engineers are working to restore normal service.
Please be advised that the data challenges are as a result of our latest upgrade and we apologize for the inconvenience.
Econet posted a message on its facebook profile saying: Good Morning to the Econet Family
We would like to advise our valued customers that we are currently facing internet challenges in and around Harare. Our engineers are working to restore normal service as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Zimbabweans on Econet woke up this morning with no access to data. All types of weird theories made the rounds on social media but we aren't bothered about them.
