EcoCash tariffs slashed

ECONET Wireless has marginally reduced charges for sending money to registered customers via EcoCash, starting this month. However, tariffs for sending money to unregistered customers and cash out services by registered clients remain the same.
A notice from the telecommunications firm indicates charges for sending money through EcoCash to registered customers ranges from $1 to $20.
Those who send between $20 to $30 would be charged $0.62 from $0.64. The same transaction costs $0.54 with Telecel's Telecash service.
Sending $30 to $40 to a registered customer now costs $0.82 from $0.84 while the same transaction with Telecash costs $0.74.
Amounts ranging from $40 to $50 now cost $1.03 from $1.04 through EcoCash compared to $0.94 charge for the same transaction via Telecash.
Sending $50 to $60 by EcoCash now costs $1.45 from $1.54 compared to Telecash's $1.24.
Amounts ranging from $100 to $150 now cost $2.48 from $2.50 with Telecash charging $2.05.
