Mutukudzi to perform at Bulawayo's Large City Hall on Friday

BULAWAYO - Oliver Mutukudzi will share the stage with Urban grooves rapper, Stunner as the duo perform in Bulawayo at the Large City Hall on Friday.
The visit by Harare-based artistes comes barely two weeks after a memorable top-billing concert by South African pop sensation Zahara.
Hardcore World Entertainment promoter, Tich Mavinyo said he was privileged to once again bring the music legend to the City of Kings.
Bulawayo's own rhumba Kings Vibe Stars Musica though not very popular is expected to lay down a red carpet for Tuku with their Congolese-fused act.
At 59, Tuku has 60 recorded musical albums in a career dating back to the pre-independence era and as always he is expected to belt out some of his classic numbers from way back to date.
For three times that Tuku performed in the city last year, once at Large City Hall and twice at Amphitheatre, he attracted full houses â€" an indication that the age-defying musician is well-liked in almost every corner of the country.
On her visit to Bulawayo last year, renowned South African Jazz and Afro pop songbird Judith Sephuma described Mtukudzi as a living legend whose music is world-class and an inspiration to many.
