Ignore MDC-T divisions - Thokozani Khupe

MDC-T members have been urged to turn a blind eye on 'perceived' divisions within the party but focus on toppling rival Zanu PF.

 Khupe told MDC-T members in the United Kingdom on Saturday  that the party was the only one united in Zimbabwe.

Several parties have in the recent past split and the ruling Zanu PF is fighting growing  factionalism.

"We are not supposed to create a perception that we not united as a party" she pleaded.

"We are the only party that has remained united and lets maintain that.

 "We can not afford to create a perception that we are fighting each other, we are a divided party.

"The fact of the matter is that MDC at the moment is the only party which has remained united...".

 Khupe, who stand accused of leading a faction within MDC-T said divisions are not unusual in a family set up.

"In any homestead, any village or family you will find misunderstandings here and there.

 "But that does not mean we are fighting each other..." she said while adding a few remarks in Shona.

"If we have issues we close each other in a room and tell each other (the truth). We emerge as one party with one president, one vision and one mission..."
