Zim girl (8) under goes successful heart surgery in China

An 8-year-old Zimbabwean girl, Ashley Mtengwa, is back home from China after under going a four-hour successful heart surgery.
Ashley had a 1,5 centimetre hole in her heart which almost took her life until Good Samaritans chipped in with US$6 500 to enable her to travel to China where her life was saved after a successful operation.
Ashley suffered stunted growth and excruciating pain.
The donations came through a celebrity combined trust which embarked on various initiatives to save Ashley's life.
Since the surgical operation, Ashley's health has improved and she can now play with other children of her age.
