Online users liken China's state newspaper HQ to giant penis

A Chinese state newspaper has been left red faced after internet users
pointed out its new building's remarkable similarity to a penis.
So much is the People's Daily newspaper's embarrassment that censors have been trying to quell chatter on social networks.
Despite this, a few comments have managed to slip through about the new home of the government-controlled publication.
One
user on the Chinese version of Twitter, Sina Weibo, said: 'It seems the
People's Daily is going to rise up, there's hope for the Chinese
dream.'
Another added: 'Of course the national mouthpiece should be imposing.'
Other than these messages you would struggle to find comments on the building from inside China.
The structure is yet to be completed so it is unclear how it will look in the end – but, judging by the mid-construction look, it does seem destined to continue to be likened to male genitalia.
