Man caught performing sex with a dead woman

A 26-year-old homeless man from Columbus, Georgia, USA was caught performing a sex on a woman's corpse in a mortuary, police said.

Domonique Smith was arrested and charged with stealing a bicycle from Hill Watson Peoples Funeral Service.

And police said that during the investigation they found evidence the man had sexual contact with the body of a woman in the funeral home's mortuary, reports the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer.

Captain Gordon Griswould said he could not remember the last time there was a necrophilia charge in the area saying, 'This is extremely rare.'

Cedric Hill, funeral director at the home, declined to discuss details.
