Zanu PF has claimed that opposition political parties and civil organizations are fueling unrest in the country.
The ruling party noted in its Central Committee report that this pose a national security risk.
"Opposition political parties including the MDC and the Zimbabwe People First ((ZPF) as well as civil organizations are fueling social unrest that has led to destruction of property, threat to lives and distortion of the general state of security in the country," reads part of the report.
It added that "people who have nothing to lose remain the greatest threat to the country's security. These include the unemployed, homeless, hungry and individuals who see no light in Zimbabwe".
From July, the country witnessed a new wave of protests from Thisflag movement and Tajamuka/Sesijikile groups while opposition parties were piling pressure on President Robert Mugabe through street protests.
