Former Zanu-PF deputy secretary in the Women's League Eunice Sandi-Moyo has challenged state controlled Herald to prove that she took $100 000 from a local prophet.
The publication on Thursday said Sandi-Moyo took the money together with Sarah Mahoka "and shared it".
The pair have since resigned from their posts after being accused of undermining the First Lady Grace Mugabe among other claims.
Said the Herald: "Cdes Sandi Moyo and Mahoka also stood accused of embezzling funds sourced from local prophets, businesspeople and corporates using Amai Mugabe's name and without her knowledge.
"They received $20 000 from Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development Minister Professor Jonathan Moyo and shared the loot.
"They also took another $100 000 from a local prophet and shared it".
Sandi-Moyo took to twitter to challenge the publication to provide evidence.
"If there is any prophet who gave me $100 00(0) may he pliz come forward. Why not name him/her" she wrote on her official @sandimoyo account.
