Politicians in Matabeleland must stop their Harare supremacy thinking - MRP

Mthwakazi Republic Party spokesperson Mbonisi Gumbo has warned politicians from different political parties who are based in Matabeleland to stop their mentality that Harea is supreme to the local people's interests and report to localizing the leadership so as for their people to benefit.
Gumbo made the remarks during Zipra heroes celebrations organised by Ibhetshu LikaZulu at Stanely Hall on Monday.
"MRP in solidarity with ibhetshu lika Zulu and Zipra veterans trust. On 14 August 2017 MRP participated in the heroes commemoration of our people. The proceedings started with a march from Lady Stanley to Stanley hall where solidarity massages and different speeches were made," he said.
Gumbo who represented his party since most of the MRP party's leadership are in Matabeleland South particularly Plumtree where they accompanied the President on a two day campaign there said the politicians in the region have let down their own people by having inferiority complex such that they think they can not do anything without Harare.
He said now is the time for Mthwakazi's self-determination.
"We no longer need Harare parties anymore, we don't need to be helped in anyway by Harare. All in Mthwakazi resources belongs to us, only us can take care of ourselves.," he said.
The other parties represented here are Ansa, MDC, MDC-T, ZAPU, and PDP. Chief Khayisa also in attendance.
MRP insisted that as Matabeleland people we don't need Harare parties we only need ourselves.
Chief Khayisa Ndiweni asked the political parties present to wait for him. Him and others will in the next few days announce a very important message.
"Umbiko uyeza masinya nje okwethu akube yikuyamkela indlela ekhona kodwa idinga isibindi," said Chief Khayisa.
