THE Zimbabwe Peace Project (ZPP) has expressed concerns over the increase in the number of human rights violations in the country as the nation gears for the elections this year.
ZPP said most of the current violations are associated with the Biometric Voter Registration (BVR) exercise.
ZPP said it recorded an increase in human rights violations to 190 in November from 189 in October.
"There was a decrease in cases of intimidation and harassment to 120 from 126. Most cases of harassment and intimidation were linked to the ongoing BVR exercise and intra party violence within the ruling Zanu PF," said ZPP.
