Mugabe an ICT pioneer in Zimbabwe - ZNNC vice president Sedambe says

Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce Matabeleland vice president Sheila Sedambe has joined the bandwagon on heaping praise on President Mugabe on computerization.
Sedambe told a South African business delegation in Bulawayo on Thursday that Mugabe is a pioneer on computerizing the country.
"Zimbabwe has vast opportunities ranging from tourism, manufacturing and information technology. Infact, I have to make a special mention here , a huge thank you to President Mugabe for his visionary work on computers. He pioneered ICT in Zimbabwe.
She added, "therefore we urged you to set up computer assemble plants in Zimbabwe as there is a ready market for them".
Sedambe said without Mugabe's initiative Zimbabwe would be backward on information technology.
On Wednesday, it was reported that Information Communication Technology Minister Nelson Chamisa showered praises on Mugabe computerisation of Zimbabwean schools.
"We want to thank His Excellency for appreciating that for us to have successful innovation, we need leadership from the populace. The President has provided that leadership and we are willing to be passengers," said Chamisa.
