Zimbabwe International Trade Fair officials on Tuesday said China would be the biggest foreign exhibitor at this year's fair which starts next week.
The exhibition to be opened by Zambian president Michel Sata runs from April 24 to 28.
China has taken up 500 square meters of which 35 companies would exhibit.
"Chinese participation over the years has usually been from local companies with Chinese interest. This is the largest participation ever from the People's Republic of China," ZITF general Manager Daniel Chigaru said.
Chigaru said 95 percent of available exhibition space has been taken.
"So far we have sold 45 535 square metres of exhibition space. The total area booked is occupied by 468 direct exhibitors, 37 of which are foreign."
The exhibition will see 62 percent of our local exhibitors returning while first time exhibitors account for 38 percent," said Chigaru.
