The defectors included district and ward senior officials. They claimed that Khupe, who is MDC-T deputy president, is selling out as she carries a Zanu-PF flag and they have several pictures to prove it.
Said Simbarashe Chakauya "We told Tsvangirai that we saw a Zanu-PF flag in Khupe's car and he ignored us. We even have pictures of that flag but our concerns fell on deaf ears."
But Khupe claimed that the defectors are not members of MDC-T.
"I do not know those people. This is absolute nonsense" she said.
Over the past months scores of MDC-T members in Bulawayo have been defected to MDC claiming that the party is no democratic.
Khupe is said to be eying Nkayi constituency in the next elections.
