The proprietor of Progressive College in Mkoba 14 in Gweru is involved in a bitter wrangle with one of the teachers at the institution that has seen the two reporting each other to the courts for defamation and a peace order.

Masvingo Mirror reported that last week Luckson Dhegwa who is a director at the College and an elder in the AFM Church was in court after reporting Ruston Sithole for violation of a peace order. Dhegwa who has a peace order against Sithole alleged in court that Sithole insulted and threatened him when they met at Choppies Supermarket in the city centre recently. Dhegwa brought his wife as a witness to the incident.

The matter was heard in the Magistrate Court. However, Sithole insisted that there was no such incident and when the two met on the said day, they actually exchanged pleasantries. He also said that Dhegwa's wife was not present.

The court then went and watched a CCTV video clip at the shop to prove this. Indeed Dhegwa was alone  and the magistrate had to dismiss the case.

It was indicated in court that Sithole was involved in another court case where he is suing Dhegwa for defamation after he allegedly accused him (Sithole) of dating a married teacher in the school only identified as Madambere.

Sithole allegedly confronted Dhegwa over the allegations and instead accused Dhegwa of being the man in love with that teacher. Sithole allegedly resigned from Progress College over the allegations
