ZANU PF has publicly gone begging for money to finance its forthcoming Congress.

The former ruling party which has been denying that it is broke came clean today in an advertisement put in the state run Chronicle Newspaper back page.

The advert, a 15X4 full color which costs US$211, announces the: December People Conference Fund Raising Launch which is going to be held at the cheap Bulawayo Polytechnic School of Hospitality and Tourism today.

Those intending to assist the troubled President Robert Mugabe led political club will have to fork out US$25 as entrance fee.

Zanu PF will have its annual conference from 6 to 10 December in Bulawayo under the theme: "Defend National Sovereignty Consolidate Indigenization and Economic Empowerment.

The conference has been, for the first time dubbed a "congress" as it is expected to endorse the party's octogenarian, President Mugabe as its presidential candidate for the forthcoming elections.

Some known Bulawayo crooks who pose as black empowerment gurus are in charge of the begging crusade.

The bogus business persons are, E Mashaba, N Nekati, W Babbage, S Khabo, Dr Jekenya, who all belong to the Matabeleland chapter of the troubled Affirmative Action Group.
