Ambassador Simon Khaya Moyo, who is the Zanu PF National Chairman, says the party should emerge stronger and more united after the Annual National People's Conference pencilled for December in Bulawayo.

Addressing party supporters at the Plumtree Town Council hall, Ambassador Moyo said the conference will propel the liberation movement to victory in the forthcoming general elections expected early next year.

He added that the inclusive government has proved unworkable and is hindering meaningful development, a situation that calls for early elections to bring an end to the current set-up.

He reminded people to entrust power in leaders who respond to the needs and aspirations of the people like the late Vice President Joshua Nkomo and President Robert Mugabe, whose visionary leadership brings people together.

Ambassador Moyo later donated two tonnes of grain to the elderly and pledged to assist the community with inputs to kick start planting for the summer cropping season.

From Plumtree, Ambassador Moyo proceeded to Bulawayo where there were deliberations about the forthcoming conference.

Speaking in Bulawayo, Ambassador Moyo said Zanu PF is the only revolutionary party in the country which has policies and programmes that seek to better the lives of ordinary Zimbabweans.

The conference will run under the theme, "Defend national sovereignty, consolidating indigenisation and economic empowerment."
