Gibson Sibanda formed MDC

THE late Gibson Sibanda formed the opposition Movement for Democratic Change, a Cabinet minister has said.

Addressing a rally in Magwegwe Hall on Sunday, Regional Integration and Cooperation minister said:

"Loot at the MDC, it was pioneered by Gibson Sibanda , Fletcher Dulini Ncube and others, but when time to rule came, (Morgan) Tsvangirai took over and Ndebeles kept quiet," she said.

Ms Musihairabwi-Mushonga urged Ndebeles the Ndebele-speaking people to be serious for once and change their historic role of always getting used and abused, by voting for one of their own in the next elections.

Musihairabwi Mushonga belongs to the MDC formation led by Professor Welshman Ncube.
