Information has reached Bulawayo24 News that the chairman of the Bulawayo province, Isaac Dakamela had no fuel to travel to Harare for the finalization of the Agenda of the oncoming Zanu-PF conference.

Well-placed sources within the former ruling party's province have said Dakamela had to be assisted by "well-wishers" to go to Harare last week for the serious strategic planning meeting with other 9 chairpersons from other provinces.

"He had no fuel. We had to run around to assist him to go and the party had not provided him any sustenance," said a party member.

Dakamela, who does not a farm, could not be reached for comment as he was said to be attending a meeting.

Zanu-PF will have its annual conference in Bulawayo at the Trade Fair Grounds from December 6 to 11 this year.

The party's provinces have already endorsed the sick and old President Robert Mugabe as its presidential candidate for the next elections.
