Witnesses fail to turn up for Wadyajena trial

The trial of Gokwe-Nembudziya member of parliament Justice Mayor Wadyajena who is being accused of insulting another Zanu-PF party member failed to kick off, on Monday morning after the key witnesses did not turn up.

Victoria Falls magistrate Rangarirai Gakanje has now set the 24th of January 2017 as the new date for trial.

Wadyajena is facing a charge of disorderly conduct allegedly for insulting Letina Undenge, who is wife to Energy and Power Development Minister Samuel Undenge during the Zanu-PF 15th annual National People's Conference in Victoria Falls in December last year.
