Zanu-PF Central Committee meeting underway

The 104th Zanu-PF Central Committee meeting is underway at the party headquarters in Harare.

The meeting is part of the ongoing Zanu-PF annual National People's Conference which commenced yesterday with a politburo meeting.

The first two meetings are held in the capital as per tradition but the rest of the conference will be held in Masvingo.

Nearly all the 300 members of the Zanu-PF central committee are in attendance and are now waiting to be addressed by President Robert Mugabe who is also the First Secretary of the revolutionary party.
