Mugabe condemns Finance Minister Biti

President Robert Mugabe has deplored the Minister of Finance, Tendai Biti's refusal to fund agriculture and other productive sectors.
Mugabe said this is evidence of discord among the partners in the inclusive government.
The Ministry of Finance has come under fire on many occasions for failure to support black empowerment programmes especially the agricultural sector.
Funding for the sector has dried up since the formation of the inclusive government and observers say the Finance Minister wants the programme to fail.
The MDC-T party is also against the economic indigenisation and empowerment programme that is being spearheaded by Zanu PF.
In line with these programmes, President Mugabe has launched Community Share Ownership Trusts in Mhondoro-Ngezi-Zvimba, and in Shurugwi where mining giant, Unki is operating.
The Schweppes Management and Employee Ownership Scheme has also been launched, a development that has seen formerly marginalised workers benefitting.
At the just ended Zanu PF 12th Annual National People's Conference, a resolution was passed to condemn lack of prioritisation of funding to empowerment programmes.
A call was also made to end the inclusive government, which Mugabe described as dysfunctional, thus the need for partners to divorce and go for elections soon.
