Zanu-PF youths implored to rally behind Mugabe

The Zanu-PF Central Committee member and National Political Commissar for the Youth League Innocent Hamandishe has called upon the youths to ensure that President Robert Mugabe wins resoundingly in 2018 general elections.

The Zanu-PF Manicaland youth provincial executive met in Mutare as part of the preparations for the presidential rallies that are set to be rolled out under which President Mugabe will meet and interact with the youths.

Addressing the provincial executive members, Hamandishe said the only birthday present that befits the President next year is a resounding victory.

He said youths as the vanguard of the party should rally solidly behind the President and use their numbers to vote for him next year.

Hamandishe said despite the coalition being mooted by opposition parties, Zanu-PF heading for a convincing victory in next year's harmonised elections.

Speaking at the same occasion the Zanu-PF Manicaland Youth League provincial chairperson Mbuso Chinguno said the youths are solidly behind the 2016 people's conference resolution which endorsed President Mugabe as the party's presidential candidate for 2018.

He called for the entire Zanu-PF Manicaland political leadership to unite and work together and advance the interests of the party.

The President is expected to kick start his provincial rallies, an opportunity which will afford the youths to interface with their leader.
